permanent

opportunity, and the salary is circa £40,000.00 per year dependent on qualifications and experience.We are looking for a self-starter with experience of working with a specialist vehicle fleet e.g. platform elevating vans and HGV''s, overhead poling vehicles etc. who is comfortable dealing with the repair of assets.

Key Responsibilities will include:Working closely with our maintenance and specialist vehicle teams, using your extensive technical knowledge to proactively prevent vehicle downtime.Setting up service schedules for LCVs, HGVs and ancillary equipment for new and existing vehicles.Setting up service sheets for vendors.Ideally, you’ll have workshop knowledge, couple with demonstrable and detailed knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics, preferably extending to include HGV and ancillary equipment fitted to vehicles. You will be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications - primarily Outlook and Excel.
