Key Responsibilities Operate a bucket loader/wheel loader safely and efficiently. Load and move materials around the site as required. Load materials into trucks, hoppers, stockpiles, and processing equipment. Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues. Ensure the machine is operated within safe working limits. Maintain clean and organised work areas. Assist with general site duties when required. Follow site health and safety procedures at all times. Work effectively with other operators, ground workers, supervisors, and site staff. Carry out routine checks, basic maintenance, and cleaning of the machine. Minimise unnecessary fuel use and machine wear through efficient operation. Complete any required paperwork, daily checks, or site records. Requirements Previous experience operating a bucket loader/wheel loader. Relevant plant operator qualification or certification where required. Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
