BTEC Business Studies Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced Business Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated ''Good'' secondary school in Warrington on a long-term basis.

The school provides a supportive and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on helping students achieve their potential.

The successful candidate must have previous experience teaching BTEC Business. This is a key requirement for the role, so candidates whose experience is limited to GCSE Business would not be suitable.

• Previous experience teaching BTEC Business is essential
• Experience teaching Business in a UK secondary school or FE setting
• QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of BTEC Business assessment and coursework requirements
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging Business lessons
• Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
