BTEC Business Lecturer

Salary: £31 per hour
Contract: Full Time

We are working with a Further Education college in Tower Hamlets seeking a confident and enthusiastic Business Lecturer to teach and assess BTEC Business programmes from Level 1–3.

The Role

• Deliver engaging BTEC Business lessons to 14–19 and adult learners
• Plan, teach and assess across BTEC/RQF Business programmes
• Support students with progress, achievement and progression
• Provide tutorial and personal tutor support
• Monitor attendance, progress and achievement
• Provide effective feedback and maintain accurate assessment records
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
• Promote an inclusive, supportive and safeguarding-focused learning environment

What We''re Looking For

• Recent BTEC Business teaching experience – essential
• Experience teaching Business within the BTEC/RQF framework
• Experience working with 14–19 learners, ideally within Further Education
• Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of assessment and student progress
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
