Technical Investigation Engineer/Broadband EngineerIpswich (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)6 Month ContractInside IR35My client, a leading telecommunications company, is looking for a Technical Investigation Engineer to investigate and resolve complex issues affecting broadband Routers, Home Hubs, Wi-Fi services, and customer connectivity products.Skills andamp; ExperienceStrong experience supporting or troubleshooting broadband CPE devices, including Routers, gateways and Home HubsExperience investigating faults across broadband, Wi-Fi, Digital Voice and home networking environmentsStrong Linux and Python skillsGood understanding of TCP/IP Networking, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6 and related broadband technologiesExperience analysing logs, packet captures, crash dumps and system diagnosticsKnowledge of Wi-Fi standards, RF fundamentals, Wi-Fi chipsets and driver troubleshootingExperience with TR-069/TR-369 device management technologiesFamiliarity with Jira, Git, GitLab and automated testing environmentsStrong root cause analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to work closely with engineering teams, developers and third-party suppliers to drive issues through to resolutionIf the role aligns with your experience please apply with your updated ..... full job details .....
