Bridge Inspector

Job description Bridge Inspector - Highways We are currently seeking an experienced Bridge Inspector to support a highways contractor in London with the delivery of bridge inspections across the highway network. You will be responsible for undertaking Principal and General Inspections of highway bridges, ensuring inspections are completed safely, accurately and in line with client requirements. The role will involve preparing detailed inspection reports, managing your own workload and working to agreed programmes, deadlines and key performance indicators (KPIs).This is a hands-on opportunity for a Bridge Inspector with experience in highway bridge inspections, who can work independently and is available to undertake night work and antisocial hours when required.Key Responsibilities Undertake Principal and General Inspections of highway bridges. Complete accurate bridge inspection reports using the client''s preferred formats, including Bridge Station and written reports. Ensure inspection reports and deliverables are completed within agreed KPI deadlines. Manage your own workload in line with the inspection programme and client requirements. Identify and record structural defects, providing clear and accurate inspection findings. Work collaboratively with the wider design and inspection team to support programme development and delivery.
