Bridge Engineer

We''re looking for an Bridge Engineer to join our Structures and Geotechnical team based in Birmingham. Location: BirminghamHours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. Salary: Starting form £38,000 per annum Sector: Structures and Geotechnical - Highways Structures We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Bridge Engineer within our Structures Team at Kier Design, you''ll play a key role in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects. These include National Highways Major Projects, National Highways SDF, TfL frameworks, Northamptonshire schemes, and South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA) contracts, among others. You''ll be responsible for the production of technical designs and documentation, supporting the Lead Engineer to successfully deliver highways structures maintenance and new-build schemes-ensuring projects meet client requirements, on time and within budget. Are you Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or HNC/HND equivalent)? Working towards or achieved IEng / CEng (MICE, MIStructE or equivalent)? Experienced in the inspection, assessment or design of highways structures? Familiar with Eurocodes and UK standards (DMRB, MCHW)? A proactive team player with strong technical and analytical skills?
