Brickwork Supervisor

Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Brickwork Supervisor to join a major residential remediation project in Cardiff Bay, working owith a leading tier 1 contractor.

This role will focus on supervising remedial and replacement works to the external envelope following fire stopping and installation issues identified on the project. Works involve stripping back to the concrete frame and managing the brickwork and fa-ade reinstatement packages through to completion.

We are looking for someone with strong experience across:

• Brickwork fa-ades
• Cladding systems
• Fire stopping remediation
• External envelope packages
• QA and compliance inspections
• Coordination of brickwork and fa-ade subcontractors

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising day-to-day brickwork and fa-ade operations on site
• Overseeing remedial brickwork, cavity barriers, and envelope reinstatement works
• Ensuring works are completed safely, to programme, and to specification
• Carrying out QA inspections and monitoring workmanship standards
• Coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors across multiple work areas
• Reporting progress and issues to Site Management and Project Teams
• Supporting health & safety compliance across all external works

The ideal candidate will have experience supervising large-scale residential or remediation projects and be confident managing brickwork and fa-ade works from structural frame through to completion.

Requirements:

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• CSCS Card
• First Aid preferred
• Strong brickwork supervision background
• Experience with fa-ade remediation or external envelope works preferred
• Good organisational and communication skills
