Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for a skilled, time-served Bricklayer to join an active commercial construction project in Newcastle upon Tyne.

We are partnering with a leading North East contractor who requires a precision operative capable of delivering high-quality face brickwork and structural blockwork to keep the site on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing high-spec facing brickwork, blockwork partition walls, and internal leaves to project drawings.

• Setting out, laying damp proof courses (DPC), installing cavity tray systems, and setting lintels over door and window openings.

• Finishing mortar joints neatly (bucket handle, recessed, or flush) to match existing site specifications.

• Working safely off scaffolding and maintaining a safe, clean work area at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• CSCS Card: Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Bricklayer) is required.

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in commercial or high-end residential bricklaying.

• Tools: Full personal hand tool kit (trowels, levels, line, jointers) and standard 5-point PPE.

• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and capable of working efficiently to site program targets.

• Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
