JOB DESCRIPTIONPOST TITLE: Lecturer - Trowel Trades and Plastering LOCATION: North Devon HOURS: Full Time CONTRACT: Permanent SALARY: 29,783 - 40,961 per annumJOB PURPOSE: To deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in Bricklaying and Trowel Trades, enabling learners to develop practical skills, professional behaviours and industry knowledge for employment in the construction sector.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Teaching and LearningDeliver engaging practical and theory sessions in Bricklaying from Level 1 to Level 3Teach a range of skills including: Brickwork and blockworkCavity wall constructionSetting outRendering and basic plasteringPrepare lesson plans, schemes of work and learning materialsSupport learners in developing employability skills and safe working practicesProvide clear and constructive feedback on learner progressAssessment and QualityPlan, deliver and assess coursework, practical assessments and examsMaintain accurate records of learner progress and achievementContribute to internal verification and quality assurance processesLearner SupportProvide pastoral support and promote positive behaviour and attendanceIdentify individual learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordinglyPromote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusionProfessional ContributionWork collaboratively with colleagues, employers and managersMaintain up-to-date industry knowledgeContribute to curriculum development, open events and employer engagementPERSON ..... full job details .....
