Break/Fix Field Engineer

The OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for experienced Field Service Engineers to provide hands-on hardware support across the Liverpool area.This is a mobile, customer-facing role working on behalf of a major technology services provider, supporting Lenovo products across customer sites.You will be responsible for visiting customer locations to complete hardware repairs on Lenovo laptops, desktops and other IT equipment. The role is largely independent, so we''re looking for engineers who are comfortable managing their own workload, travelling between sites and providing a professional customer experience.Lenovo''s support team will generally complete the initial diagnostics before a repair is dispatched to you. You''ll receive the fault details, repair action plan and required replacement parts, allowing you to focus on completing the repair, testing the equipment and closing the job. What You''ll Be DoingTravelling to customer sites across your assigned region to complete hardware repairs.Collecting replacement parts from local depots / PUDO locations where required.Reviewing fault information and repair action plans.Carrying out hands-on hardware repairs and component replacements.Testing equipment following repairs.Completing job documentation and updating the relevant dispatch / ticketing system.Returning faulty components to the local depot / PUDO.Communicating with the dispatch team regarding appointments and any issues encountered on-site.Liaising professionally ..... full job details .....
