We are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the team at a charming school in the Aylesbury area. This rewarding role involves supporting both the Breakfast Club and After School Club, helping to create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for the children.

About the Role:
- Supervise and actively engage children during Breakfast and After School Club sessions, creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Prepare and serve breakfast and snacks, encouraging healthy eating habits and good table manners.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and quiet time that promote childrenandrsquo;s social and emotional development.
- Support and encourage positive behaviour by using effective strategies to foster cooperation, kindness, and respect.
- Maintain the safety and wellbeing of all children by adhering to safeguarding and health andamp; safety guidelines at all times.
- Set up and clear away resources and equipment before and after sessions, ensuring a clean and organised environment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff, helping to foster a strong sense of community and trust.
- Assist with administrative tasks including attendance records and incident reporting as required by the school.
The ideal candidate will:
- A sincere enthusiasm for supporting and working with children
- Friendly, dependable, and approachable, with a consistently positive attitude
- Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A basic awareness of safeguarding and child protection (training available if needed)
- Prior experience in a childcare or educational setting is desirable but not required
- Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check
