Job Role: Breakdown Controller
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day Shifts
Salary: -29,000 - -30,000
My client, a large Tool, Plant, and Powered Access hire company operating nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Controller to join their team.
The Role of Maintenance Controller Includes:

• Handling Enquiries:-Responding to hire and service enquiries via telephone, email, and our online ordering system.
• Breakdown Management:-Managing calls from customers and arranging for engineers to attend breakdowns promptly.
• Job Card Management:-Updating job cards on the internal database and allocating jobs efficiently.
• Machine Availability:-Checking the availability of machines and ensuring their status is always up-to-date in our systems.
• Coordination:-Collaborating with the engineering and transport teams to ensure the correct machines are ready and delivered to customer sites.
• Customer Service:-Communicating effectively with colleagues and providing a helpful and friendly point of contact for depot enquiries.

Ideal Candidate for Breakdown Controller:

• Industry Experience:-Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries.
• Technical Skills:-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
• Communication Skills:-Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Additional Requirements:

• Organisational Skills:-Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving:-Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Team Player:-Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
