Brazer Reports to: Production Manager Position Overview The Brazer is responsible for preparing, assembling, and brazing components and sub-assemblies to engineering specifications and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, safe working practices, and a commitment to achieving production targets while maintaining high levels of quality. Key Responsibilities Production and Quality Perform brazing operations in line with drawings, work instructions, and company standards. Prepare and assemble components prior to brazing. Inspect completed work and identify any quality issues. Maintain a "Right First Time" approach to minimise rework and scrap. Complete production records accurately and support quality improvement activities. Health and Safety Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures. Use PPE correctly and operate equipment safely. Report hazards, defects, incidents, and near misses promptly. Comply with COSHH requirements and safe handling procedures. Equipment and Housekeeping Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults. Maintain tools and equipment in a safe condition. Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with 6S standards. Teamwork and Continuous Improvement Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business. Support training, team activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
