Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing commercial activities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales, enhance customer service, and ensure operational efficiency. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading a team, managing inventory, and optimizing store performance while maintaining high standards of merchandising and customer satisfaction.Duties

Lead and manage daily operations of the retail store, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and controlling inventory levels to maximize profitability.Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets while enhancing customer experience.Conduct employee orientation, training and development programs to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with labor regulations.Supervise staff performance through effective coaching, mentoring, and conducting regular performance evaluations.Handle recruiting processes including interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial reporting to optimize store performance.Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Experience

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role within the commercial sector.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred for effective communication with diverse clientele.Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.Experience in merchandising, marketing strategies, and sales management.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong time management skills to prioritize responsibilities effectively.A background in grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory.Experience:
