Brand Activation Manager
will play a key role in delivering world-class activations for both Chelsea FC’s brand and its commercial partners. Reporting to the
Brand Activation Lead , this role will manage the planning, execution, and reporting of campaigns that drive fan engagement, strengthen the Chelsea brand, and deliver value for partners.The role requires a balance of strategic planning and hands-on delivery, with responsibility for ensuring activations are integrated across multiple channels, align with club objectives, and are delivered to the highest standard. The Brand Activation Manager will also provide vital support to the Brand Activation Lead on club-led initiatives, special projects, and strategic priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesActivation Planning and DeliverySupport the delivery of club-led brand activations, working closely with the Brand Activation LeadLead the planning and execution of partner marketing activations, ensuring contractual rights are delivered to a best-in-class standardDevelop season-long activation strategies that deliver against partner and club objectivesEnsure all campaigns are integrated across brand activation digital, social, matchday, PR, and experiential platformsManage day-to-day coordination of campaign delivery, working with internal and external stakeholdersCampaign Management and ReportingOwn the activation and campaign tracker, ensuring scheduling and delivery of all activations are documented and communicatedLead campaign reporting in collaboration with the Insights team, delivering actionable learnings and ROI analysisProduce case studies and best-practice reports to support continuous improvement and new business conversationsCross-Functional CollaborationBuild strong relationships across Partnerships, Brand, Creative, Communications, Matchday, and Insights teamsEnsure activations are aligned with wider club marketing and fan engagement objectivesSupport to Brand Activation LeadAssist in the delivery of high-profile activations, including influencer and celebrity collaborations, international projects, and large-scale fan experiencesProvide day-to-day support on special projects and strategic initiatives led by the Brand Activation LeadContribute to the development of new activation opportunities that drive incremental revenue and enhance the Chelsea brandWhat We’re Looking ForExtensive experience in digital, activation and brand marketing, with proven ability to deliver integrated campaignsStrong understanding of sponsorship, partnerships, and rights deliveryDemonstrable ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlinesConfident communicator with strong presentation and influencing skillsCreative thinker with a track record of bringing innovative activation ideas to lifeStrong organisational and project management skills with attention to detailProactive team player, equally comfortable working independently and collaborativelyNice to HavesEducated to degree level or equivalent marketing qualificationExperience in sport, entertainment, or lifestyle marketingKnowledge of international fan engagement and global brand buildingOur Commitment to Equality, Diversity and InclusionAt Chelsea we recognise that the diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths and we are taking positive action to ensure our existing colleagues and job applicants can fully be themselves and bring their own unique experiences and perspectives to Chelsea FC.
