EssexOur Client is an Independent Owned Builders’ and Plumbers Merchant supplying plumbing, building, heating and sanitaryware products for over 100 years. Due to continued success our Client is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial person to lead their Flagship Operation in Essex.Responsibilities

Accountable for the financial and non-financial performance of your branch.Implementing the agreed company strategy for your branch.Managing and coaching sales strategies to achieve sales and gross profit targets while also improving customer loyalty.Protecting and growing the brand awareness of the company in the marketplace.Ensuring your branch operates to the highest Health and Safety Standards and regulations (you will be supported by our head of operations and external HSE advisor).Qualifications / Skills

A proven and successful track record supervising or managing a builders merchants branchGood industry knowledge of the building trade and associated products.A proven track record of successfully implementing sales strategies that grow sales and gross profit performanceGood customer service and relationships with key suppliers and employees.Experience dealing with a broad cross section of customer types such as trade, retail, house builders, contractors, local authorities etc.Natural leadership skills that your colleagues respect and want to follow.Knowledge of using Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.Salary
