Key Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, job sheets, and technical specifications. Select and install correct tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job. Carry out machine adjustments to achieve accurate dimensions and quality standards. Perform first-off inspections and regular quality checks during production runs. Measure finished components using gauges, rulers, verniers, and other measuring equipment. Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved efficiently. Carry out routine machine maintenance and report faults or breakdowns promptly. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment. Work closely with fabrication and production teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
