Brake Press Setter/Operator

Nelson Recruitment Services are recruiting for our client in the West Bromwich area.

We are looking for Brake Press Setters to work within the manufacturing shop floor.

Pay rate: -12.71 + 22% shift allowance- /- weekly pay

Location: B70 9PL

Person Specification for Brake Press Setter

• Previous Experience as Brake Press Operator/Setter;
• Capable of creating programs
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
• Metal Fabrication experience
• Ability to follow directions and to communicate with all team members
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Setting and operating amada brake press
• Setting and programming / changing tools / complying with health and safety

Job Description:

• Operation of CNC Press Brake creating varied products
• Working with different types of steel
• Carry out quality check on work
• Ensure a clean, tidy, organised working space
• Applicants should possess the ability to work efficiently
• Able to work on their own initiative
• Must be able to communicate at all levels, and have the ability to work as part of a team

You be required to attend a meet and greet an induction and also a short practical test on the machinery.
