Job Description Brake Press Setter Job Title: Brake Press SetterJob Location: TamworthJob Type: Full-timeJob Purpose We are seeking an experienced and motivated Brake Press Setter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating and adjusting CNC and conventional press brake machines to manufacture sheet metal components to the required specifications, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy and productivity. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and conventional press brake machines in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. Select, install and align the correct tooling, punches and dies for each job. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and bending schedules. Programme and adjust machine settings, including bend angles, back gauges and material positioning, where required. Carry out first-off inspections and dimensional checks to ensure components meet specified tolerances. Identify and correct bending inaccuracies, machine setting issues and tooling problems. Ensure all components are produced to the required quality standards and within production deadlines. Monitor production runs and maintain consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process. Complete production paperwork, inspection records and job documentation accurately. Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults or defects promptly.
