Brake Press Operator

As a Press Brake Operator you will be responsible for operating our press brake machines to produce high-quality component parts. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that production commitments are met and adhering to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set press brake machines to meet production requirements
• Perform general metalworking duties as needed, including rolling and forming
• Contribute to departmental output by working towards KPIs and production goals
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain quality control processes

Other Responsibilities:

• Training: It is essential to participate in and take full advantage of training opportunities to maintain professional development.
• Flexibility: You may be required to take on other reasonable tasks consistent with departmental objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven experience in operating press brake machines
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, methodical and precise work ethic
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain motivation
• Flexibility in approach to work and shift patterns

Qualifications/Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering environment is essential
• Experience in operating press brake machinery and working with sheet metal
• Ability to meet production deadlines and contribute to team targets

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
