Boys PE TeacherLocation: Rugby Daily rate: 179- 255 a day Contract: Ongoing Start date: ImmediateA thriving, ambitious secondary school in Rugby is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Boys'' PE Teacher to join its successful Physical Education department. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for those with suitable experience. They will also make an active contribution to curriculum delivery and the school''s extensive extracurricular sports programme.Key responsibilities Plan and deliver stimulating, challenging PE lessons for boys across a broad range of sporting disciplines. Inspire students of all abilities to fulfil their potential and develop a lasting enjoyment of sport. Encourage physical fitness, teamwork, resilience, leadership and healthy lifestyles Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support. Contribute to the ongoing development of the PE curriculum. Organise and lead extracurricular clubs, fixtures, competitions and sporting events. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment in which every student is encouraged to succeed. Support the wider life of the school by taking part in events, trips and activities.The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
