Hales Group are currently recruiting for a Bottlepack Operative on behalf of our client based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment where you''ll play a key role in ensuring products are filled, packaged, and prepared to the highest quality standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor filling machinery and associated equipment to ensure consistent product quality and production output.
• Set up and calibrate machines according to production requirements.
• Carry out quality checks on fill levels, weights, packaging, and labelling to ensure company standards are met.
• Identify and report equipment faults, product deviations, or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, maintenance, and product changeovers as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with GMP and Health & Safety procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and achieve production targets.

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible to work both day and night shifts.

 
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift Pattern (12-hour shifts)

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday (60 hours)
• Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday (24 hours)
• Shift times: 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00
