Our client, a 1.2 million T/O organisation in Derby, is looking for a bookkeeper to start asap.

Description
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers in line with organisational policies.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.
- Payroll administration for all staff.
- Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
- An annual salary of -43,000
- Temporary, possibly temp to perm office based position offering flexibility and experience in the not-for-profit sector.
- 37.5 hours per week although the client would consider 30 hours.
