Bookkeeping and Payroll Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Payroll and Bookkeeping Assistant to join a busy and growing accountancy practice. This is a varied role offering a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both payroll and bookkeeping within a fast-paced environment.You will play a key role in supporting both functions, working with a range of clients and ensuring all work is completed accurately and within strict deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Duties:Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls Ensuring all payroll information is accurate and submitted on time Handling Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC Managing payroll queries Maintaining accurate payroll records Processing CIS returns and dealing with related queries Bookkeeping Duties:Maintaining accurate financial records Processing purchase and sales invoices Completing bank reconciliations Assisting with VAT returns Supporting the preparation of management accounts About YouPrevious experience in payroll and/or bookkeeping Experience with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines Good organisational and communication skills Confident using accounting and payroll software A proactive and adaptable approach What''s on OfferA full-time, varied role within a supportive team Exposure to a broad client base Opportunities for development and progression If you are looking for a well-rounded role where you can ..... full job details .....
