Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper Location: Farnham, Surrey Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time Sector: Accountancy Practice / Bookkeeping and Management Accounts TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and well-established accountancy practice in Farnham that is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with around 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience who is looking to develop their career within accountancy practice. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a varied client portfolio and have the opportunity to develop their skills in bookkeeping, VAT and management accounts preparation. The Role As a Bookkeeper, you will work closely with a range of owner-managed businesses and SME clients, supporting their day-to-day financial requirements and ensuring accurate financial records are maintained. This is a varied role that will provide exposure to bookkeeping, VAT compliance and management accounts preparation, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities. Key responsibilities will include:Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a varied portfolio of clientsProcessing sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank transactions and journalsPerforming bank, control account and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsAssisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accountsWorking with cloud accounting software including Xero ..... full job details .....
