This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and payroll preparation. You will work closely with the external accountants to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth month-end and year-end processes. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and promptlyReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely supplier paymentsManage staff expenses and company credit card transactions Accounts Receivable Raise sales invoices in line with company procedures and contractsAllocate customer receipts to the ledger accuratelyMaintain the customer database and resolve billing queriesMonitor debtors and ensure accurate reporting of outstanding balances Credit Control Proactively chase overdue payments by phone and emailBuild strong relationships with customers to encourage timely paymentEscalate and resolve aged debt issues in line with company policyProduce regular debtor reports for management Payroll Support Collate and check staff timesheets, overtime, and allowancesVerify payroll data for accuracy before submission to external accountantsMaintain employee records and ensure changes (new starters/leavers, ..... full job details .....
