      <description>Location: Birmingham | Salary: 30000.00-30000.00 Weekly | Type: Permanent | Our client is an SME who are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper whith payroll expertise to join their business based in Birmingham. This role is paying between £30-35k and requires 5 days per week on-site. What you''ll do:   Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate payments on both weekly and monthly schedules. Handle fluctuating payroll elements such as overtime, expenses, and worksheet adjustments with careful attention to detail. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing payroll legislation and ensure all processes remain compliant with current regulations. Support the bookkeeping function by recording financial transactions accurately and assisting with reconciliations as needed. Perform ad hoc transactional finance tasks including invoice processing, expense claims, and petty cash management. Assist with general office administration duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the team. Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to resolve queries related to payroll or finance matters promptly and politely.
