I''m currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join a friendly, collaborative finance team, working closely with Client Account Managers within a pod-based structure. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fully digital, cloud-based environment and supporting multiple client accounts.The RoleMaintain accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clientsProcess purchase and sales invoices end-to-endComplete bank and control account reconciliationsPrepare and submit VAT returns in line with MTD requirementsAssist with payroll processing where requiredSupport management accounts preparation, including accruals and prepaymentsEnsure all work is completed accurately and to agreed deadlinesWork closely with colleagues to resolve queries efficientlySystems and Working EnvironmentXero (daily use)DextFully cloud-based, paperless setupWhat I''m Looking For2-4 years'' experience in a bookkeeping role (practice experience preferred)Strong, practical knowledge of XeroGood understanding of VAT and core accounting principlesExperience using Dext or similar document capture toolsHigh attention to detail and accuracyComfortable working in a digital, paperless environmentConfident written and verbal communication skillsKey BehavioursTakes ownership of tasks and follows work through to completionOpen to feedback and keen to learnCommunicates clearly and works well as part of a teamReliable, organised and deadline-focusedRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business ..... full job details .....
