Bookkeeper - Part TimeLocation: On-siteContract: Part Time, 3 days per week, PermanentHours: 9am-5pmWorking Pattern: Office-basedWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company, seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and support the directors with accurate, timely financial reporting.This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-driven bookkeeper with strong construction industry experience, confident working closely with an external bookkeeping and accounting partner.The RoleReporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the full bookkeeping function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth financial operations.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining accurate books and records using XeroPosting and reconciling bank transactions at month endRaising and posting sales invoicesManaging accounts receivable, chasing outstanding debt, and allocating paymentsPosting purchase invoices against issued purchase ordersManaging accounts payable, reconciling supplier statements, and processing paymentsPreparing and submitting VAT returns on XeroHandling CIS submissions and understanding reverse charge VATPreparing monthly management accountsSubmitting payroll information to the external accountantAssisting with year-end accounts preparation alongside the accountantAdditional ResponsibilitiesGeneral administration and support for DirectorsReception duties and answering calls confidently and ..... full job details .....
