An established family run business with ambitious growth plans are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented-Bookkeeper-to join their dynamic team.
This is varied position that goes beyond traditional bookkeeping. Whilst accounting is the core focus, the successful candidate will have additional responsibilities for wider office administration and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and manage purchase orders
- Reconcile bank transactions, purchase invoices, and employee expenses
- Create board packs and financial reports
- Assist in P&L budget creation
- Send customer statements and manage a credit controller
- Support ISO9001 documentation and audits
- Draft and maintain employment contracts
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or finance administration (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, QBE)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working across departments and managing varied tasks
- Experience with ISO standards and HR documentation is a plus
