We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our busy accountancy practice in Exmouth. The successful candidate will manage bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the preparation of accounts and tax returns.

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients

• Process sales and purchase invoices

• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards

• Prepare and submit VAT returns

• Manage payroll processing (if required)

• Assist with preparation of management accounts

• Liaise with clients regarding financial queries

• Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage

• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations

 ? Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in bookkeeping (preferably within an accountancy practice)

• Strong knowledge of VAT and UK bookkeeping regulations

• Experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Good communication skills

• AAT qualification (desirable but not essential)
