Bookkeeper – Lincolnshire – £30,000 to £35,000 Hybrid Working

We’re working with a fantastic company based in Lincolnshire to recruit a Bookkeeper who will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance function. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants autonomy, and thrives in a hands-on environment.
The business is going from strength to strength, and as they continue to grow, they’re looking for someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and take charge of the numbers, with the support of a friendly, down-to-earth team around them.
What You’ll Be Doing:As Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including:
Day-to-day transactional finance, including purchase and sales ledger
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Managing bank reconciliations and payment runs
Posting journals, prepayments, and assisting with month-end
Supporting wider finance projects and improving processes
Acting as the go-to for finance queries from across the business
This isn’t a boxed-in role — you’ll be trusted to manage your workload and suggest improvements, with the freedom to shape how things are done.
What We’re Looking For:Solid experience in a Bookkeeper or similar finance role
Strong understanding of transactional finance processes
Confident using accounting systems (Sage, Xero, or similar)
A hands-on approach and great attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
A growing business where your work will be recognised
