We’re representing a well-respected, practice with offices in Scarborough and Bridlington who are looking for a Bookkeeper to join their friendly and growing team.

What the Bookkeeper role involves

• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients.
• Processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and supplier/customer accounts.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently.
• Supporting colleagues across the team as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role (practice experience desirable but not essential).
• AAT qualified or working towards, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, VAT, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a client-focused attitude.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently as well as part of a team.
