Bookkeeper

Alma Personnel have been instructed by their Erdington, Birmingham based client to recruit for a Junior Accountant.

Having had experience of working within an accountancy practice, you may be looking for the next career move, if so then this open position will give you that opportunity.

You will need to be:

• Self-motivated
• Have an outgoing personality 
• Be able to hit the ground running!
• Work as part of a team

You will work on a wide range of open jobs, handling numerous client accounting affairs

You will be working with PAYE, VAT, Accounts prep for Ltd and sole traders, also self-assessments and Corp. Tax.

• Statutory accounts preparation for limited companies and sole traders
• Corporation Tax
• Self-assessment Tax returns
• VAT
• PAYE

Knowledge of Sage, Iris etc would be a distinct advantage.

The ideal candidate would have a friendly manner and be approachable, have a good telephone manner and should be able to manage their own workload efficiently.
