We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing, well-established subcontractor and distributor business, specialising in the supply and installation of construction products. This well-established company is a specialist in the design, supply, and installation of projects within the construction industry. They are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to take ownership of key financial responsibilities, including managing accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and overseeing VAT returns. The role will also involve supporting administration and compliance tasks, offering variety and scope for professional growth

The Role:

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for projects.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with company standards.
  • Some administrative tasks such as filling, record management and updating company records

The Person:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with construction accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Procore, or similar).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
