This critical hire will play a key role in streamline operations, allowing the wider accounting team to focus on accounts preparation. This is a dedicated, pure bookkeeping position, ideal for an organised professional who loves the client bookkeeping cycle and is looking to make the role their own.Practice Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities Take full ownership of and manage VAT returns for a diverse and growing portfolio of clients. Perform high-quality, day-to-day bookkeeping duties for clients. Utilise Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records. Directly manage physical paperwork brought in by clients and actively support efforts to transition them onto cloud-based software. Liaise directly with clients to resolve bookkeeping queries and collect outstanding records.
