This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, managing client work and taking ownership of accurate, timely bookkeeping and VAT.   The Role You will manage bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio, including: Processing invoices and transactions through to trial balance Completing bank and control account reconciliations Preparing and submitting VAT returns Resolving queries and discrepancies Liaising with clients on bookkeeping and VAT matters Maintaining accurate, well-organised records for accounts and tax work Working with cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks   About You We’re looking for someone with: Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within practice A strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping VAT experience Confidence using cloud accounting software Good client communication skills A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work independently AAT qualified, part-qualified or QBE candidates ...
