Bookkeeper Full Time hours Onsite Nottingham 28,000 Astute Recruitment are recruiting for a Bookkeeper on behalf of our client based in Nottingham. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time, fully onsite basis at their office in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working with a diverse portfolio of clients. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple clients across various industries Manage both accounts payable and receivable ledgers Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns Process CIS returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Assist with the early stages of accounts preparation Liaise with clients, resolving queries and providing financial insights Work across multiple bookkeeping software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) Requirements: Proven bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or in a role handling multiple company accounts Proficiency in using multiple bookkeeping software packages (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and CIS returns Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach AAT qualification or equivalent experience (desirable) ..... full job details .....
