Bookkeeper and Tax Assistant
LGS Vision Recruitment are supporting a firm of accountants with a Bookkeeper and Tax Assistant position. This is great opportunity to join a supportive and growing team and support not only with Bookkeeping but also build some taxation experience. (tax training will be given) Role: Manage bookkeeping for multiple clientsPreparing self-assessment tax returns and accountsPrepare and submit VAT returnsCommunicate with clients to gather necessary financial informationCarrying out analysis, calculations, and submissions to HMRCReconcile sales, purchases, and bank accountsDealing with queries and correspondence with HMRCManaging Making Tax Digital (MTD) processes, including setting up clients on softwareIdeal Candidate: Tax experience or happy to learn Preferably Bookkeeping and VAT skills/experiencePersonable with a good telephone mannerConfident communicating with clients both over the phone and face to faceAble to conduct face-to-face meetings where accounts may be completed with the client presentAdaptable when working with a variety of clientsExperience using IRIS and XeroStrong multitasking abilitiesA team playerIf you''re keen to find out more, please contact Liam Snell at LGS Vision Recruitment. ..... full job details .....
