      <description>Location: Chichester | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Our client, an established, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their expanding team in Chichester, West Sussex.  The role will involve dealing with the bookkeeping, VAT, preparing management accounts, maintaining financial records and processing and reconciling client data, ensuring deadlines are met. Key duties include:-   Day to day bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients  Data input, bank reconciliations and maintenance of bank feeds Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns (including margin schemes and other VAT schemes) Monthly CIS returns Registration for government gateways  Must be proficient with bank feeds, Dext, Hubdocs etc. Adherence to internal workflows and deadlines Preparation of Management Accounts  Undertake any other duties which may be required by management commensurate to the role  You will ideally have at least 2-3 years UK bookkeeping experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as AAT Level 4, or working towards this.
