We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support the Directors with the day-to-day financial management of the business and associated rental properties.Summary of the RoleThis is a hands-on, part-time position responsible for managing the company''s accounting function from daily bookkeeping through to preparation of information for year-end accounts. The role will suit an experienced bookkeeper or accountant, ideally Part/ AAT qualified (or qualified by experience), who is confident using Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Xero, and enjoys working closely with business owners in a small, friendly environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting and BookkeepingMaintain company and rental property accounts using Sage Line 50 and Xero up to Trial BalanceRaise customer invoices on a weekly and monthly basisProcess supplier invoices and prepare payment runsEnter bank payments and receipts and complete regular bank reconciliationsMaintain and manage the fixed asset registerProcess prepayments, accruals and depreciationPrepare monthly management accounts and reportsPayroll and HMRC ComplianceProcess four-weekly payroll using Sage Payroll, including ..... full job details .....
