Booking Coordinator Support

Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established and expanding business on the outskirts of Ipswich in their search for a Booking Coordinator Support.Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all booking information is accurately recorded and for verifying haulage details, collection information and load requirements ahead of arrival.Duties include:Liaising with customers, hauliers and site personnel regarding scheduled deliveries.Maintaining accurate booking records and load tracking information.Managing customer booking requests received by telephone, email and company management systems.Processing customer enquiries promptly and professionally.Ensuring customer requirements are communicated accurately to operational teams.Assisting with transport planning activities to ensure the efficient allocation of vehicles and resources.Liaising with drivers, transport providers and operational teams regarding scheduling requirements.Maintaining operational spreadsheets, reports and booking records.Supporting the continuous improvement of booking and administration processes.Person Specification: Previous administration, logistics or customer service experience.Strong organisational and communication skills.Experience managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Professional telephone manner and strong customer service skills.Please ..... full job details .....
