BOM Specialist

Are you an experienced Billing of Materials Specialist with a passion for accuracy and process improvement?
We’re currently hiring a BOM Specialist to take ownership of Bills of Materials (BoMs) and product structures within an IFS ERP system, supporting a leading electronics manufacturing environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing BoMs and product data to ensure complete accuracy across manufacturing, procurement, and lifecycle management processes. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams, ensuring data is aligned with business needs and supporting New Product Introductions. This is a key role where attention to detail, ERP expertise, and strong cross-department collaboration will be essential.

Salary upto £38,000pa, plus excellent benefits and software/equipment training.

What do you need?

• Proven experience managing BoMs and product structures in an ERP system (IFS preferred)

• Familiarity with change control processes (CRs and COs)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP data management tools

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain

• Knowledge of configuration management or ISO standards (desirable)

• A pragmatic, problem-solving approach

• Full right to work in the UK

What will you be doing?

• Creating, updating, and managing BoMs and product structures in IFS ERP

• Ensuring data accuracy and alignment across departments

• Supporting NPI projects with timely product structure setup

• Maintaining high product master data quality across ERP modules

• Driving continuous improvement in product data workflows

• Collaborating with stakeholders to meet operational and business requirements
