BoM Configurator

Role: Bill of Materials (BoM) ConfiguratorRate: 27/ per hour (Umbrella) OR 20 PAYEDuration: 12 monthsWe are looking for a Bill of Materials (BoM) Configurator to work within the Engineering Services Team of a global automotive company based in Peterborough. You will have the opportunity to support both current and upcoming New Product Introduction programs and gain experience working within a global team, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering and Manufacturing teams.Responsibilities: Become a Subject Matter Expert on BoM configuration.Configure new Production and Aftermarket lists to help the wider business deliver against Customer requirements.Maintain existing Production and Aftermarket engine build lists via design changes and obsolescence, in-line with Engineering, Product Team, and Customer needs.Create new configured groups to support new product structures.Actively advocate continuous improvement within BoM Configuration and the wider Engineering Services team.Requirements: Microsoft Office experience required.PLM software experience.Engineering background preferred. ..... full job details .....
