Must have experience required for boiler operator role: actual steam systems operating experienceformal boiler/operator experience and/ or trainingevidence that they can work safely without supervisionunderstanding of PSSR/LOTO/permit systemsPreferable: water-treatment experience The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of steam boilers and associated equipment. The role includes monitoring boiler performance, maintaining correct steam pressure and water levels, carrying out routine inspections, identifying faults, and ensuring all equipment is operated in accordance with safety procedures and applicable regulations. Operate and monitor steam boilers, burners, feedwater systems, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.Start up and shut down boilers safely in accordance with approved operating procedures.Monitor steam pressure, temperature, water level, fuel supply, combustion conditions, and other operating parameters.Maintain the required steam pressure and supply to production or facility systems.Conduct routine boiler-room inspections and record operating readings in logbooks or electronic systems.Test boiler water and assist with water treatment to maintain required ..... full job details .....
