Bodyshop Paint Repair Technician Norwich, NorfolkRotating Days and NightsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Paint Repair Technician to join a leading rail engineering organisation in Norwich, supporting the maintenance and presentation of one of the UK''s most modern passenger train fleets.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paint technician, automotive paint sprayer, SMART repair technician, or bodyshop professional looking to apply their expertise within the rail industry.The RoleWorking as part of a specialist production team, you will be responsible for inspecting, preparing, repairing, and refinishing paint defects on modern passenger rolling stock, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest cosmetic and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect and assess vehicles for paint defects, damage, and cosmetic deterioration.Determine repair requirements and select the most appropriate repair methods.Carry out all aspects of surface preparation, including sanding, masking, feathering, filling, and cleaning.Undertake paint repairs and refinishing activities to restore vehicles to a high-quality standard.Mix and apply paints, primers, lacquers, and approved coating systems.Perform colour matching and blending to achieve seamless finishes.Complete polishing, rectification, and final quality inspections.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.Accurately document completed repairs and work ..... full job details .....
