Bodyshop Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established accident repair group, for the position of Bodyshop Manager at their new site in Abergavenny. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced automotive professional to lead a busy, high-performing bodyshop and contribute to its continued success. The Bodyshop Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the centre, managing a team of up to 20 staff members, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high standards of service delivery.

• Basic salary up to -50,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Duties of the Bodyshop Manager:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop, ensuring productivity and profitability
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 20 staff members
• Implement and maintain strict process controls and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations
• Liaise effectively with insurance companies, customers, and suppliers
• Monitor KPIs and financial targets to drive continuous improvement
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Assist with training and development initiatives to enhance team performance

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or in a similar senior role within an accident repair environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a large team
• Methodical and structured approach to operational management
• Knowledge of industry standards, processes, and health and safety regulations
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
