Clear Automotive Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful and growing accident repair group to recruit an experienced Bodyshop Manager for their busy, BSI-approved repair centre in Dudley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Bodyshop or General Manager with a strong accident repair background to lead an established, high-performing team within a modern and successful operation.

The Role

As Bodyshop Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the repair centre, ensuring productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance are consistently delivered.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and motivating a team of Paint Sprayers, Panel Beaters, MET Technicians, Estimators and Administrative staff.
• Overseeing all site operations, including Health & Safety, performance management, customer service and financial performance.
• Monitoring productivity and ensuring Key-to-Key times and CSI targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Leading recruitment, training, coaching and performance management across the site.
• Managing KPIs and producing reports for senior management.
• Controlling site resources and costs to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Holding daily production meetings with Team Leaders, Parts and Reception staff.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurers, suppliers and work providers.
• Resolving customer queries professionally and efficiently.
• Leading by example and creating a positive, high-performing working environment.
• Ideally using Autoflow Bodyshop Management System and Audatex estimating software.

To be successful in this role, you''ll have:

• Previous experience as a Bodyshop Manager, General Manager or Site Manager within the accident repair industry.
• A thorough understanding of the vehicle repair process and insurance claims procedures.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to drive business performance.
• A proactive, organised and results-driven approach.
• Experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
