Bodyshop Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Bodyshop Advisor in Burgess Hill. This is a permanent, full-time role suitable for experienced Bodyshop Advisors seeking to progress within the automotive industry. The successful Bodyshop Advisor will play a key role in customer liaison, insurance negotiations, and bodyshop operational support.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with insurance companies to authorise repairs and facilitate claims
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and proactively
• Oversee the repair process from vehicle intake through to completion, providing regular updates
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction
• Assist with estimates, administrative tasks, and vehicle movements as required
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
• Contribute to a diligent and proactive team environment dedicated to quality repairs and customer care

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop Advisor, with direct liaising with insurance companies preferred
• Valid UK driving licence is advantageous for managing vehicle movements
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Customer-focused attitude with a flexible, proactive approach
• Willingness to expand knowledge of estimating, bodyshop procedures, and insurance processes
